lyrics
Domů pár od městských bran
Na trhu je všechno co znám
Z té spousty vín a jídel z ryb
Nezkusit bylo by hřích
Davem lidí se prodírám
Ke krámům jež rozbili tam
Kupci z krajů vzdálených
Všude kolem je křik a smích
Tu náhle viděl jsem na loutnu hrát
dívku o jaké každý jen sní
Ve vlasech vítr a z úst jí zní
Balada dávno minulých dní
Při písni oči přivírám,
jsem zase jen komediant
ztracený ve staletích
co živ byl hladem a pil smích
a za vojsky svou káru táh
když jel pán, do bláta pad
a od bran města jmény znal
hlavy jež zobák vran poznamenal
pak zpíval kupcům na tržištích
a jednoho dne náhle ztich…

Perhaps we're all fellow romantics, looking up at the same night sky, trying to wring our own meaning out of the stars. I hope that pursuit never ends. The John
Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard! wafiii
